New Evaluators - Effective with the adopted changes to the standard (12/03), the Evaluator Workshop is now required of all Level II Emergency Services Instructors being recommended as new Evaluators.  Sponsors may schedule an Evaluator Workshop by contacting the MICRB.

PDI Requirement for Recertification - Effective April 7, 2004, the Board will accept a MAXIMUM OF 6 HOURS OF ITC II TOWARD THE 12 HOUR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT REQUIREMENT FOR RECERTIFICATION. The Instructor Training Course Level II was never intended to replace Professional Development/Continuing Education for instructors but was offered as an alternative for instructors who may have had difficulty in the past achieving the full 12 hours as required by the Standard.  Since a significant number of PDI opportunities are now available, the Board has elected to restrict the number of hours it will accept toward meeting the PDI requirement for recertification.
