Course Description: Major topics covered in this course include the challenges of emergency services instruction; speaking before a group; safety: the instructor's role; legal considerations; the psychology of learning; instructional delivery; practical training evolutions; and instructional media, testing, and evaluation.
This class will require additional student work outside of normal class hours to include, but not limited to; take-home assignments, PTIs, study guides, and assigned readings from the textbook. This may also include coursework that must be completed prior to the first class session.
