Enhancing Instructional Decision Making with OODA Loop (MICRB #324) - 3 hrs

Course Description: Instructors often forget that they are decision makers; there are instructional decisions that have to be made each time one teaches. Using Kolb's reflective model, this course explores the instructor's decision-making points during a training session. Using Col. John Boyd's OODA Loop and Gasaway/Endsley's Situational Awareness Levels, instructors will explore opportunities for better instructional decision making using situational awareness. Instructors will create a scenario that will reinforce SA/OODA Loop.
