This course provides rescue personnel with techniques, skills, and an understanding of equipment and current challenges regarding extrication and rescue involving heavy vehicles.
This class will require additional student work outside of normal class hours to include, but not limited to; take-home assignments, PTIs, study guides, and assigned readings from the textbook. This may also include coursework that must be completed prior to the first class session.
Prerequisites
MFRI Technical Rescue: Common Passenger Vehicle Rescue Technician (RES 214) or MFSPQB, NBFSPQ, or IFSAC Common Passenger Vehicle Rescue Technician certification
