Teaching the new NREMT Class (MICRB #227) - 1.5 hrs

Instructional Hours: 1.50

During this class the students will be provided with tips and tricks for teaching the new skills in the NREMT class. A detailed explantion of EMS Testing and how instructors can effectively use it in the classroom will be given. Students will have the opportunity to create a test for their class. We will also cover the instructors role in administering the practical exams for each of the three modules. At the completion of the program, the EMT Instructor will be able to:

• Demonstrate and explain the appropriate use of CPAP to their students
• Demonstrate and explain the appropriate use of the nebulizer to their students
• Prepare their students for NREMT testing by creating a variety of tests at different skill levels using EMS Testing
• Correctly administer the EMT Module Practical Exams using the provided scoring sheets
