Prehospital Trauma Life Support Refresher - PHTLS 10E (NAEMT)
Instructional Hours: 8.00
Course Description: This course provides a prehospital trauma care philosophy, stressing the need to treat the multi-system trauma patient as a unique entity with specific needs that require an approach to treatment that varies from traditional treatment modalities. This course includes team-focused practical exercises. This class will require additional student work outside of normal class hours to include, but not limited to, take-home assignments, PTIs, study guides, and assigned readings from the textbook.
