Electrical Safety - NFPA 70E

Instructional Hours: 4.00

This four-hour program is designed to provide the participant with the knowledge and skills to perform work on energized equipment and machines. The program will cover Arc Flash Hazards and the NFPA 70E requirements as well as definitions and terminology. Students will also learn about Electrical Safe Work Practices and Personal Protective Equipment for high voltage areas, including lighting, emergency lighting, signage, perimeter fire barriers, safe distances for qualified employees and safe distances for unqualified employees.
