Electrical Safety - Lockout/Tagout

Instructional Hours: 4.00

This four-hour program is designed to provide the participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform Control of Energy during the service and maintenance of machines and equipment. Topics covered include lockout/tagout OSHA standards and development of lockout/tagout programs; devices ensuring lockout and procedures for a tagout system. Other topics covered include single and multiple energy sources. Demonstration of devices and the procedure for re-energizing the machine or equipment will also be discussed.
