Firefighters Grant Program Workshop

This free grant workshop is for all fire department and EMS personnel and will provide detailed information on the eligibility requirements and application process to help enhance the possibility of a successful application. This grant workshop will address the following grant programs:

• Assistance to Firefighters Grant COVID Supplemental (AFG-S)


• Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG)


• Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER)


• Fire Prevention & Safety (FP&S)

Upon completion of this workshop, the participants will:

• Understand the importance of financial planning to meet mission objectives


• Learn the eligibility and requirements for the FEMA firefighter grant programs (AFG-S, AFG, SAFER, FP&S)


• Demystify the grant application process by breaking down the application process


• Learn how to develop grant proposals that help lead to a grant award
