Path to Certification

The intent of this program is to provide information regarding certification for fire service personnel, how to obtain certification, the benefits and purpose of national certification, and how to document previously acquired training and certifications. An overview of the Maryland Fire Service Personnel Qualifications Board and its member agencies is included. A question and answer period will be offered.

The intended audience for the "Path to Certification" is chief officers, training officers, instructors, membership secretaries, anyone interested in professional certification, and those who assist others in obtaining their certification.
