Skills Proficiency and Critical Thinking: Preparing Students for Both (MICRB #296) - 3 hrs

This session is for EMT and EMR Instructors only. This program will review the new MIEMSS practical and current student deficiencies. The class will discuss the differences and similarities of skills proficiency and critical thinking. Instructors will be given the opportunity to share the techniques they use for student success. Selected students will role play several scenarios while other instructors will critique them and provide feedback for improving performance. The session will include a section on "where we go from here".
