Course Description: As an instructor, our job is to plan and manage all aspects of the classroom climate, regardless of the location, inside or outside, or subject matter being covered. This course will address strategies for creating positive aspects of your classroom climate.

Course Objectives: Given information and discussion, the students will be able to:

• Define classroom climate;
• Describe the key aspects of classroom climate;
• Describe the characteristics of a positive classroom climate;
• Describe the importance of a positive classroom climate.
• Identify strategies for creating positive physical aspects of the classroom climate;
• Identify strategies for creating positive intellectual aspects of the classroom climate.
• Identify strategies for creating positive social aspects of the classroom climate.
• Identify strategies for creating positive emotional aspects of the classroom climate.
